I love this page. I love it.

Most of the time in my stories, my characters are already friends with each other, so it's a refreshing change of pace to actually show the beginnings of a friendship. And I love it.

And I love that you guys are liking how this situation is being handled as well and how relatable and human the characters are! I feel proud of my story-telling skills, and pride in myself is something I rarely feel. It's a nice feeling. Don't worry, I won't let it go to my head.

Eric: You purposefully gave me an advantage over one of the biggest influences of the setting?
Taylor: Yepper. I wanted to be sure you could contribute. Those guys are waaaay too used to it being just the three of them that they forget about new members sometimes.
Eric: Wow. Thanks, but. . .
Taylor: But?
Eric: This went from innocent crush to stalker very quickly. And I’m really, really not okay with that.
Taylor: Yeah, now that I’ve stepped back a bit, I can see that I went overboard.
Taylor: . . . Do you still want to play?
[Ulrich smiles.]
Eric: I’ve got nothing else to do.
Taylor: How about this? After this session, I’ll tune down Sissi’s obsession with Ulrich.
Taylor: Waaaay down.
Eric: She’ll still have a crush on Ulrich?
Taylor: Yes, so you can still have connections, but I’ll make sure she isn’t as bothersome. I swear on my abilities as a Game Master.
Eric: . . . Okay. But if she pulls the same sh-crap again, I’m done.
Taylor: You got a deal.
Eric: I owe you one.
Taylor: You owe me? This is me paying you back for avoiding that nuclear disaster.
Eric: Then we’re even.
