I've been waiting for this conversation for almost a full year, and I'm soooo happy it's finally happening!

Next page on Monday! Have a good weekend!

Taylor: Eric, you strike me as a realistic guy.
Eric: Hmph. What gave that away?
Taylor: Anyway, you only listed two NPCs with crushes on Ulrich, one of which was a puppy crush. Does that sound like everyone?
Eric: . . . No.
Taylor: I’m a little lost though. What brought up this outburst?
Eric: This session is. . . hitting close to real life.
Taylor: Someone’s blackmailing you?
Eric: No, thank God.
Taylor: That’s good. So, what can I do to make this campaign less upsetting for you.
Eric: Have girl characters stop bugging me.
Eric: . . . Please.
Taylor: I take it you don’t like girls?
Eric: It’s not that; I just don’t want to date them.
Eric: And before you ask, no, I’m not interested in guys either.
Taylor: So no dating for Ulrich, period?
Eric: That’d be nice, yes. Why did you even do that in the first place?
Eric: I’d understand if it was a joke among friends, but I never played with you guys before.
Taylor: Sissi was going to be how you got to the factory.
Eric: What?

I totally get how Eric feels... at least the leave me alone with the goddamn romance anyway.

And now I'm left remembering all the times I had to deal with that conversation.
"No I really don't want a girlfriend."
"No I'm not gay I don't want a boyfriend either."
And the immediate flip from "oh he doesn't want a girlfriend he must be gay" pissed me off as well. Why can't people get that I just don't want to deal with people like that?

Sorry for the rant. I don't think I've ever seen someone else have to deal with that exact conversation before.

It's okay. I understand that defending yourself over and over again would get tiresome. Hope you're doing okay. *Hugs*
