Yeah, I figure the barrels were full of cleaning supplies. This is a school, not a chemical factory, so there wasn't much I could pick from. Still, open containers? Bad, bad, bad.

Some of you may recall that I went from 10 pages a week to 5 for this month and was going to switch it back on December 4th. But since this month was a terrible month for me, I've not made progress on my buffer. So I'm going to extend it until January 1st. Don't worry, I'm slowly getting my life together and juggling all my responsibilities, so we should be back to our regular schedule by then. I just need to figure out how to manage my time wisely.

Transcript

[Morning at Kadic Academy.]
Ian (Jim): Alright, time to face the music.
Stein: I’m already gone, Ian.
Ian: Wha?
Stein: I’ve been at the factory since 5 AM.
Ian: You’re in sooo much trouble when I find you.
Stein: Uh-huh. Has my research turned up anything?
Taylor: Yepper. The labels were for various cleaning chemicals, including bleach.
Andy: Bleach? In those barrels?
Taylor: It’s a big campus and that’s my reason. When the barrels were knocked down, they mixed together, resulting in a chlorine gas.
Rachel: I don’t think chlorine gas is purple.
Taylor: I know. I just want you guys to be able to see the gas and go, “RUN AWAY!”
[The cloud of gas hovers over a vent that leads to Sissi's room.]
Eric: But if someone’s asleep, they can’t see it.
Taylor: And?
Stein: Oh, crap! Sissi!

That's fair. Take care of yourself.
And that logic makes more sense than anything else that could have been in the barrels

Take it from me, blessings of success are a mixed bag. You may not know this but for some people the most successful breakthrough moment can also be full of the most danger, arguments, injuries, harrassment(?), and opposition from critics. Success can be traumatic and everyone might doubt you in the beginning. But that doesn't make winning the game any less real for you. Whatever dificulty your facing, you'll be okay. Just be careful. As Jamie S. Rich, 2001 Editor-in-Cheif of Oni Press Comics Publishers once told me:

"Go lightly"

That was his email name at the time.
